Privacy Policy

This policy describes how BioRust Studios, LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Cam Gaze desktop application and the camgaze.com website.

Your video never leaves your computer

Cam Gaze analyzes your camera feeds entirely on your device to estimate which camera you are looking at. Your video is not uploaded, transmitted, stored, or recorded by us — all gaze analysis runs locally on your machine, and camera capture only runs while you are signed in and the app is open.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create a Cam Gaze account, we collect your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares, such as your name). Authentication is provided by Google's Firebase Authentication service.
• Support communications. If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message.

The Cam Gaze application does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How we use information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To operate, maintain, and improve Cam Gaze.
• To respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and related Google Cloud services) to provide sign-in and to host this website. Google processes your account data on our behalf under Firebase's privacy and security terms.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your account from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion.

Children

Cam Gaze is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
