Terms of Service

Effective date: July 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and BioRust Studios, LLC ("we", "us") governing your use of the Cam Gaze desktop application and the camgaze.com website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an account to use Cam Gaze. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to create an account.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Cam Gaze for your own use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including interfering with its operation, accessing it by means other than the interfaces we provide, using it to violate the rights of others, or using it in violation of applicable law. You are responsible for complying with recording and privacy laws that apply to your own use of cameras.

Your content

Cam Gaze processes your camera video locally on your device. We claim no ownership of your video or of the content you produce with the Service.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. Automatic camera switching depends on real-world conditions (lighting, camera placement, hardware) and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free — please verify your setup before relying on it for a live production.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioRust Studios, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or US $50 if you have paid us nothing).

Changes to the Service or these terms

Cam Gaze is under active development; features may change. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
